    Crust
    1 3/4 cup flour
    3/4 Butter, softened
    1/3 cup sugar
    1/3 cup coarsely chopped pecans

    Filling
    1 1/2 cup dark Karo syrup (I used new brown sugar karo syrup)
    2/3  cup firmly packed brown sugar
    4 eggs
    6 TBS. flour
    2 tsp vanilla
    1 tsp salt
    1 1/2 cup chopped pecans

    Heat oven to 350 degrees.  Combine crust ingredients until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.  Pressed into 913 ungreased pan.  Bake 18-22 minutes.

    Combine all filling ingredients except pecans.  Blend well.  Add pecans.  Spread evenly over warm partially baked crust.  Return to oven and bake 30-35 minutes or until filling is set and knife inserted 1 inch from side comes out clean.  Cool and cut into bars.
